Friday News Update 5/30/25
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God
This is probably going to be a busy weekend in the Middle East. Here in the Ohio Valley we haven’t seen sunshine in 84 years.
My garden, which is intended to help feed my family, would appreciate it if the temperatures would get out of the 40s at night.
Oh well, maybe we’ll see the sun next week…

Global Agenda
Cambodia is moving troops to the Thailand border. Is this another war, or is it just the rumor of a war?
A few days back, North Korea was having a ceremonial launch for a new naval Destroyer and it didn’t go according to plan. Kim Jong Un was there to see the ship be launched into the sea and when it was sliding down the runners for its launch it snagged on something and toppled over, capsizing into the water. To make matters worse, satellite imagery shows that they didn’t want to just leave it there for everyone to see (until they could get it cleaned up) so they covered the whole thing up with a giant blue tarp like you would get at Walmart.
Well, as one would expect, it looks like the people who were in charge of the launch have been arrested and are now in mortal danger, due to their incompetence.French President Emmanuel Macron is once again out there calling a Palestinian state, carved out of Israel, a “moral duty” and a “political necessity”. Israel, for some strange reason, believes that France won’t recognize a Palestinian state so long as the US is against it.
Representatives from quite a few Arab nations (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, Qatar, and Turkey) are supposed to visit the West Bank to view conditions there. Israel has announced that they will be preventing entry to the delegation and they will not be allowed into the country. This is not going to go over well…
Climate Agenda
A devastating tornado struck 50 miles southeast of Louisville, Kentucky this morning, killing one.
Red Horse: Wars & Rumors of Wars (Rev 6:3-4; Matt 24:6)
Middle East Hodgepodge
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has come out and said that Israel will establish 22 new settlements in the West Bank in response to a proposed Two-State Solution, and make it more difficult to create a Palestinian state.
The US has rejected outright any UN plans to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state. While there are numerous other nations who formerly rejected the idea of dividing up Israel in order to make a Palestinian nation inside of Israel who are now coming out in support of it, the US may be the last nation to reject the idea (other than Israel). I think I said this in the last update but it’s pretty outrageous to think that it’s ok to tell another country that they have to cede some of their land in order to accommodate a people group. Can you imagine France telling the US that they have to make a new state because there were some people that didn’t like the way the US was handling things?
Some sources are pointing toward an Israeli strike on Iran during Pentecost (the Hebrew Hilel calendar has Pentecost taking place this coming Sunday.
Iran has issued a No Fly Zone over Tehran during the exact same time.
Gog & Magog (Ezekiel 38-39)
There was a data breech in Russia which revealed a secret nuke site. This is a huge story and Russia will probably not take this one lightly.
China has launched an Aircraft Carrier and shortly after its launch a Chinese vessel approached Taiwan with its Identification turned off.
Earthquakes in Various Places (Matt 24:7)
5.2 earthquake in southern Iran. Was it really an earthquake? No aftershocks have been reported. More likely that it’s either an underground nuclear explosion or a blast to create a bunker in a mountain.
The Days of Noah (Gen 6:4; Matt 24:37)
Nvidia CEO, Jensen Huang, has declared that he’s about to sell $800M in company stocks. Is there something going on that we’re not aware of?
